I was going through the first level and as soon as i saw spider webs i was like "ohh..noooo", then when the spiders appeared i just quick saved and quit to desktop.
Gonna try to get through it tomorrow.

Alright, so this game sound pretty popular, but I need some convincing:

I am not an RPG fan, I play FPSs and racing games. I have never played an Elder Scrolls game before, but this game looks intriguing. I was gunna wait for it to drop in price, but if you guys can convince me to buy it, I'll drop $60 and get it (and hopefully not be disappointed).

Got her back. There was an autosave only fifteen minutes behind, but I had to kill the bloody witches again.

Level 6, in sneak mode as far away from her as you can. Bow to death. Get some good sneak and bow leveling that way. If she heals too fast, get her to low health and run in for the kill.

I just dodged as many fireballs as possible and got WAY up close to her like to the point where you're pretty much walking into her and just kept running around and hitting her since it takes her about a whole second to swing her arm, just make sure you don't get too much farther from her than right up to her ugly face or she will start fireballing again from just 3 feet away which conveniently doesn't seem to do any splash damage to her at all.

I might be more inclined to use spells if I had the one she uses, has anybody found it yet?

There should be some kind of respawn script for when you press the ~ key, it might be the same as the Gamebryo engine's command was so you could do a bit of research into it and find out.

Was level 6 or 7 at the time. The fireballs were pretty much a one-two K.O., and the burning damage from merely being splashed by it didn't help. Tried a couple times before I sniped and ran in for the kill.

Also, I didn't want to have to use a console command on my first playthrough.

I'm using the Brotherhood armor and some hat that gives +30% to sneaking or something.

I think this is the third time now that I've saved with a Snow Sabre Cat directly behind me 4 feet away, luckily I've always had a previous save that wasn't too far away but nonetheless I hate getting surprise buttsex from something I can't kill solely in melee combat RIGHT after I save, it's just a terrible feeling

Elven looks good on females, glass has never looked good but it looks WAY better in this game than it does in either of the previous two if I remember.

game officially shelved until the crashing issue is patched. i simply can't play it like this

Nope they are just repeatable money earners (the "infinite quests" from all the pre-release hype).

Nah. Get loads of stamina potions, have the whirlwhind shout and a big fuck off hammer and just whirlwind to his feet, smack him a good one and run out of his reach. Rinse and repeat and you should get him down in a while. Just make sure you stay at his feet and don't let him to the almight big swipe that kills you in one.
