What are you looking for, specifically? A gaming headset, something for music, something to block external noises?

For the sake of sound quality, since I don't know what else you're looking for, I'd look in to ordering a pair of Grados SR60s. Well within budget and fantastic for the price.

Edit: As it turns out, you can get the SR80i for 100 as well. These seem to have improved bass over the SR60s, which might be appreciated.

I've had these for ...8 years now? I dunno, a while. They're pretty good. Well under $100.

Nah, seriously.
AKG K 240
Sennheiser HD 280
For under $100, not really sure what else you'd find.

Can highly recommend these bad-boys. Nice powerful bass with a decent mid to high. I got my pair for £50, so I guess it'd be like $75

Anyway they're awesome. You're missing out.

I use this pair of headphones currently - the sound quality is great, but if you have a big head it will take quite some time for them to become comfortable. They are billed as a noise canceling headphone, which in this case just means that the headphone clamps together with a LOT of pressure. Only after several months of daily use have they reached the point where they don't hurt after a few hours.

noise cancelling means active phase/whitenoise technology.
noise isolation means sound-proof seal... usually ear bud.
