my aunt's a senior-level manager for the NHS over here and im pretty sure they actually have some managerial initiatives to keep their medical staff healthy, fit and hygienic. it just doesn't set a good example otherwise. plus we're socialists and all that so everyone has to look the same, satisfy a minimum height and have blonde hair and blue eyes.

Should make Keeley Hazel's rack mandatory.

I think a lot of companies are starting to do programs like that these days, I know that where my dad works they have programs in place to encourage the staff to keep fit. I'd think other big businesses would be the same.

but patient dignity, man
Not sure if serious...

And also if you are think about it, if you make it so the system wont handle people who are too fat, it could somewhat be a motivation for them to shed some pounds, if we it so its okay to be 700 lbs people wont do any kind of effort to lose weight, why, they dont have to. When you are at the point that's its either you lose some pounds or at the first emergency you are screwed....i dont know for yourself but i'd do something to be helped.

Patent dignity? Don't want to be harsh, but they lost their dignity when they nearly eat themselves to death to need an ambulance in the first place. What, should we erect curtains around them when we are moving them to protect their dignity? Should they be in a separate ward to protect their dignity? Fucking protect your own dignity, its your own responsibility. Don't eating like a horse.
Dignity? Id fucking roll them outta the house and down to the hospital like a beer keg. They lost their dignity a long time ago.

My mom threw her back taking a fatty down the stairs when she was in the business. I see these 'megambulances' as being more for the EMT's than the patients.

Is restaurant food the problem or just that people eat colossal quantities and don't do any exercise?

Step 1: Cut portion sizes by federal mandate. If alcohol content in beer can be regulated then sugar content in soda can be regulated.
Not really going to work. The feds have more to worry about on their plate and it'll just end up becoming an additional food tax. I think the problem in part stems from lack of education. PE has too much locker room bullshit and not enough actual physiology. But given all the other fields of study that American schools fail at, it's only to be expected.

What a shitty argument. So patients loose their dignity by getting sick?
Just because someone needs treatment doesn't mean they're stripped from their basic rights.

Smoking is a choice.  Being tall is genetic.

I'm not saying all problems are under your control, but there are certainly patterns of behavior that are hard to sympathize with.  I personally have very little sympathy for people that don't help themselves.

LOL...  Works for me, but hunchbacks don't require a different ambulance, unless they're just ridiculously tall.
Shocking
sorry you feel that way

You can't possibly put a genetic trait in the same category as being a fucking fatso weighing over 400 pounds.

It's true that some people have a disposition towards becoming fat but letting yourself reach such absurd levels of fat is simply ridiculous.
