It's also Diwali (Hindu festival), which is another firework-celebrated event. There was gonna be a fireman strike in this country too, so basically this country would have destroyed itself in one night, but apparently it's going to rain tonight and also the firemen have called off the strike, so I guess we'll just have to wait for 2012.

If you had $35000 to $40000, and were looking for a used diesel sedan with no more than 60 000 km on the dial, what would you suggest?

I'm guessing you've added one too many zero's to those figures otherwise you'd be looking for a brand spanker with that sort of money

I'd suggest you buy a 1985 Corolla and spend the change on cocaine and hookers.

Nope. Well, a decent car is wanted. Something like an Audi, BMW etc. Ive looked at BMWs and they appear to be the only choice for just under $40k, and is a 2006 model. Ive seen a 2008 model for $44k and it had ~65000k on the dial.

Edit, rechecked. The 08 model actually has ~30 000kms on it. derp.

Dilbert, Mercedes was my first choice, but they dont make any good cars that are diesel and in that price range.

Bible folk? I foresee a quick death to the place over here unless they serve good food. New restaurants tend to have a short run in Helsinki unfortunately if they can't get a bunch of regulars. Do they show sports on TV's or something like that or is it all about wings n' titties?

here they always have sports on and nice big high def tv's.  all you can eat wings on wednesday is the bomb.
