I r/c heli.  I currently need parts.  6 channels are fucking hard to fly.  I've about got it though.  Thanks for reminding me, I to order that stuff.
I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something.  - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.

I really want to play with these... But I don't think I am ambitious enough to learn the hard ones (plus parts from crashes), and the cheap ones don't even count.

Put me in the broken RC car I have never fixed group. I shoulda got a truck or at least not belt driven. ANY pebbles on the road get thrown into the belt constantly, chewing up the belt if not stripping the gears off the diff. Thing is wicked fast around a corner though.

I took out your youtube username reference in the OP, as that would be considered advertising and that's not allowed.

I really need to get back into R/C cars.  They're a lot of fun, just a lot of time and patience too.

I have a Suberu Impreza, one of those make it yourself ones. I haven't used it in like 2 years though.

RC cars kept me out of a lot of trouble when I was younger. Learned a lot over the years fixing, modifying, racing them. Some of my first were RC10, JRX2, and had the Tamiya Bruiser which was sweet. Then I got distracted by girls and when I got my license my RC days were numbered. About 10 years ago I tried to get back into racing. Bought all new gear and an new car but that lasted less than year. Good times... Tower Hobbies made a ton of $ off this kid during the 80's.

If you go for it I'd recommend that you buy a brand that has tons of spare parts for it easily available.  I didn't and have to really search to hunt down rotor blades and shit.  I'm having a hell of a time finding parts for this guy:

my other (also foreign made and needing parts):

That one is little!  And fun to fly in the house.  The landing skids have busted and been fixed a few times.

The 3/4 channel ones are ultra easy to fly.  Those are like the R/C havoc air hogs.  I've got two of those.  I don't like flying them though as going back and forth between a 3 & 4 channel messes with my mind too much.

I want this is for no other reason than to fuck with people:

I've spent a lot of time slope soaring, power flying and currently looking to get into UAV operation.
Just about to buy a .40 size trainer and an electric motor setup, so I can requalify here in Aus.

Might try this next year if I can put together a team.

I bought this as a really basic starting point, but haven't got round to actually trying it.

And I've been mucking around with one of these for quite a while.

Protip: If you want to learn to fly a plane or especially a helicopter, get a good simulator, eg Realflight G3, the flight behaviour and physics simulation is absolutely dead-on.

I wanted a good R/C copter...

Wanted really bad...

Poorfag so have to consider it thoroughly...

Decide not to because I tend to like things for a week and then never use them again...

Still bored...

Like I said, get a simulator, you can't break it, can sell it and its good practise even if you do get a real one.

The small, cheapo coaxial copters are pretty easy to fly (comparatively) and can be had for a $100-200.

Fuck I thought this was going to be a thread about research chemicals.

I'd totally be down with some 2C-B or 2C-I or 2C-E if I could find it.

I was just saying how silly I thought it was that he removed the youtube links. So much of what could be construed as ''advertising'' happens over here then when someone comes up with something original like their youtube videos it gets removed. Let's all have loads of shitty '' be my personal army and vote for some whore in this competition'' threads instead, if you get me.

It's a dick move
