Crop + .gif

Would someone kindly crop the black out of this .mov and turn it into a looping .gif please? Also, a slow down to 50~75% of the original would be nice. Whatever you think is best.

I tried doing it myself in Adobe Premiere but when I cropped, it left all the black in and I don't have a gif editor
I'd prefer it be a small file size since I plan on using it as an avatar. The .mov is only 90kb so I don't think the .gif will be much larger, even if it is a little bit longer.

You can use photoshop CS4... just have to make sure it is the 32bit version.. 64bit version DOES NOT have the compatibility.

To resize the gif.. save your gif to your computer.

Open photoshop, and then go to File->Import->Video Frames to Layers

In the File Name box type “*” ( or you can type the name manually) The window will now show every type of file

Select your gif and you have done

To resize, go IMage-> Image size.. and change the dimensions.

Then make sure you save for web, and select gif.

El finito!

EDIT: If you want to edit any of the frames of the gif..., once opened, go Window -> Animation

Only difference here is that it's a) a mov, and b) i cropped it by selecting the area with, holy shit, the selection tool, and then Image>Crop

thank you so much Mr. Tazz! I really need to get around to installing PhotoShop on my system. I dunno why Premiere would turn everything else black if I cropped something.
