But who cares about the exact distance?
You either are okay with putting a Mosque anywhere, or you're not.

I hope a mosque gets built around me so I could get some good hummus.DrunkFace wrote:

Another Mosque should be build close to the Statue of Liberty. And another one close to Guantanamo Bay. Etc...
nope. am thinking mecca would be a great place for it.Ty wrote:
You should maybe try building an anti-islam centre closer to home first. It would be interesting to see what the public reaction would be.
I'm serious though, it would be interesting to see the public reaction to an anti-Islam centre being built in the US. I know there are a few anti-islamic organisations and websites and stuff already but something like an actual community centre.11 Bravo wrote:

anything "anti"-whatever is bs
if you don't like then look away rather than make an anti xxx organisation
I was talking about anti Islam organizations. That doesn't mean I'm in favour of punishments like that. But there's much more to it when you say anti Islam organization. Much more things are involved than just their punishment methods. If you would make an anti stoning/acid punishments organization I would support you but and anti Islam organization not. Its not all bad when the word Islam is mentioned.11 Bravo wrote:

Fanatical Islam, yes. Clearly, they don't do that sort of thing in the West, Albania, or Turkey -- at least, no one gets away with it in places like that.11 Bravo wrote:

Touche... I'm not saying there is a shortage of religious nuts among Islam.11 Bravo wrote:

Good question... I guess it may have been part of a diplomatic mission, but yeah... it sounds like it violates that concept.FEOS wrote:

Our government supporting a specific religion with our tax dollars, regardless of whether those benefiting from it pay taxes or not...definitely seems to violate the intent, if not the letter, of the First Amendment.11 Bravo wrote:
