the drum brakes on your 2002 are mechanically operated via the parking brake lever. There are no hydraulics involved. Most of the older subarus are either hydraulic drums with an integrated parking brake mechanism or disc brakes with integrated calipers.Nappy wrote:

works pretty much the same, except i dont have wheel cylinders, but i still have the auto adjuster
