Okay, that makes sense at least. The thought behind the $30 f7p was that it would reduce a lot of the noise that comes with a stock cooler, not that it would take the temps down that much. I got one for exactly that reason and stuck it on my AMD 965 x4. It was one of the best purchases I've made for that PC. I can actually leave my PC on overnight without hearing WHIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.ebug9 wrote:
There are better coolers at a slight increase in cost ~$50-60 will buy an awesome one. Thermalright, Xigmatek, Noctua are all better quality.

Never said I had anything against them... I just never used or had one so I got no clue about the models, functions etc.Finray wrote:
Lol what have you got against Gigabyte now ffs, they make some of the best affordable motherboards on theFloppY_ wrote:
I just skipped the mobo entirely because it was gigabyte didn't even read the 1156 part, butFinray wrote:

Also lol, you've included a S1156 mobo for a S1366 CPU..

I don't know about you, but I can't fit all of my regularly accessed files onto 64GB. The 1TB also takes advantage of the SATA6GB/s mobo, and is yet another TB of space. She'll find a way to use all of it, trust me. My mom is a photographer... she has about 20TB in externals atm.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:
Why 3TB of storage, not 2TB and SSD? Also HX650W PSU over the TX750W anyday. And I have never eaven heard of that CPU cooler, safest bet something tried and tested.

Better build quality and modular.Finray wrote:
What's the difference?
If you use a win7/case combo and drop the i7 and mobo to 95w, you'd be able to throw in that SSD as well. Which from where I'm sitting, seems worth it.ebug9 wrote:
Is modular really needed?
on the contrary sir..Ilocano wrote:
For someone who will rarely change up their PC innards, modular is a waste, TBH.
But if you hardly ever open it again, it wouldn't matter.FloppY_ wrote:

By going modular you ensure you ALLWAYS have only the wires you need and no fidly messy shit with adapters etc.
I got a HX650 and as far as I am concerned I am never going back to non-modular
1GB non-superclocked (EVGA ones) were out of stock on Newegg when I checked. It's $229 in stock now.NooBesT wrote:
So why has no one said anything about the GTX 460 768 MB model's memory being only 192-bit compared to the 256-bit of the 1 GB model?
Modular power supplies allow you plug and unplug the power cables (helps a ton with wire management). They're also slightly more expensive.Kimmmmmmmmmmmm wrote:

sound card yes, music nice
modular what?
will i be able to add another internal drive later?
i see it's 64 bit... why is that? just curious. looks meaty.
If you hardly ever open your PC then you will basically destory it...Ilocano wrote:
