it does as soon as they get popular enough. i actually think it's very smart in the way that it detects a comp/mix and attributes the correct album art and general tag. the problem is that anybody can make a shitty mix and there are tons of compilations being released everyday. it's hard for the system to automatically detect it. a 12 year old can beatmatch a bunch of identically-structured dubstep tunes together on traktor and upload it to soundcloud.

It should say that it's by Various Artists (overall), or maybe even show that it's put together by Gui Boratto.
It's only detecting the cover art on this comp. because some dude has gone and uploaded the image for every single individual track.
There's no way of visiting an album page that has various artists, it seems. At least, not that I have noticed.
I suppose what they really need is for the label to upload the data properly ... which also seems like a slightly strange system, why not have it like the rest of the site (and other sites) where it works on a kind of Wiki basis.
