Brian Johnson's voice goes well with the style of AC/DC, I think it's what makes them special tbh. Infact, they are a great at their genre, on all levels. /fanboi
Never liked Guns & Roses, too noisy, and I agree that Rose definitely contributed to that. Agree on the rest. Will post mine once i get the time
Not every voice has to be that good, many singers are terrible but contribute to an awsm sound ... Axl Rose is one of them definately, so is Brian Johnson ... Chester Bennington from Linkin Park is another allthough he actually can sing if he wants too, with Dead by Sunrise he showed that other side more clearly ...
Wait behind the line ..............................................................
I seriously hope you're just reaffirming your previous suggestion and not insinuating that Bob Dylan was the singer in The Boomtown Rats.

Not bad...just annoying, and just one song I can think of:
"Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" by Herman's Hermits
Again, not a bad voice, just...something about it and this song always makes me slam the mute button on the stereo.
What the hell kind of radio station do you listen to that plays songs like that? The only time i listen to the radio it's on an oldies station and even then they don't go that far back
Now listen to it, as sung by Eric Clapton (a real singer, songwriter, and guitarist)
Then we've got Billy Corgan, of the Smashing Pumpkins, who sounds alternatively like either a tone deaf flamboyant gay trying to imitate Johnny Cash, or like he's being sodomized by a cheese grater whilst singing. Example
