74th advertiser in the US... yes... 73 other companies being in front of one of the biggest technology companies in the world... thus apple spends a relatively little amount on advertising. having figures and statistics is only a 'proof' if you can empirically use them to PROVE SOMETHING. trying to spin statistics to suit your (fundamentally wrong) argument is a form of phoney-fraud. ever heard the saying 'there's lies, damn lies, and then statistics'? that applies to people like you that try to take any concrete form of number and then use it, with no context, reference or relevance, to their own argument.
considering apple's size, 73 other companies behind ahead of them in american advertizing is extremely surprising. that's a lot of companies spending a LOT of money on a LOT of adveritising. it just goes to show that with a relatively little amount of TV airtime and network broadcasting, apple's 'iconic' adverts have done a great job. it's probably a complimentary service to apple's marketing that you're so adamant that they advertize a lot, and everywhere (because of you remembering it, or claiming to)- despite the fact that they actually don't spend much at all. it's incredibly cost-efficient and effective.
