Bullet drop in that video could very well just be the rifle's inaccuracy. Hell, you could point the M95 to the left of a target and kill him, does that mean there is bullet drift? No, it means the stupid rifle is inaccurate, and happened to be downwardly inaccurate in that video.
I believe it has a little to do with inaccuracy and lag. I have Fraps running on my machine when I play so I can see the ping. If it is too high, I start compensating for "bullet drop" or "lead" and hope for the best. It's a crap-shoot. I ususally don't even bother sniping if there is too much lag.
