Didn't know there was a wireless version of the IME though..
Anyways:
SteelSeries QcK+ + MX518 = sex.
Unless your bed is like 5 miles away from your computer, the mouse cable should be long enough to reach it.
Wireless is outdated imo. Go get a Razer! I got my Copperhead since 2006 and its working good.
I have a Diamondback, MX518 and Mamba. (I just realised I have all those mice, what the fuck)
MX518 is reliable, but too fat and rounded I found after time.
Diamonback was too small and cramped up my hands after long sessions. This only started happening after my hands grew, it was a great mouse until then.
Mamba is in between the two, it is slightly bigger than the diamondback but not fat and round like the mx518. It is also wireless or wired, which is pretty great. Means you never have a problem with batteries because you can just plug it in and keep going. I never have to conciously think about charging it because I tend to leave it wired when just shitting around and then unplug it when I want to start playing games. There is honestly no difference at all between the performance it isnt like 2000 anymore. It also weighs the same as an MX518 (not guessing either I just picked them both up) so weight isn- ah what am I saying wireless mice havent improved since the first one was released in 2001 and had an infrared reciever and used AA batteries amirite guys!
So yeh, you pretty much already said it was too expensive but its pretty much what you are looking for.
edit. fuck that was a lot of words about pretty meaningless shit.

Don't get Razer. You're paying for the name.
Jesus fuckin christ def it doesnt matter what the name is they all cost the same for the same features.
I know of one other mouse that combines the Mamba's features. And I dont know specifics just that it has decent DPI and wired/wireless switching on the fly.DefCon-17 wrote:

Of course you pay for the brand but you get what you pay for and its the same as any other product.

Ha, funny thing is, I owned that mouse and just chucked it about 2 weeks ago. It was getting very sensitive, would stick on the screen, wouldn't respond, etc etc. So I bought a $20 Logitech corded mouse and it's wonderful. I don't think I'll ever go back to wireless again.Uzique wrote:

yeah that's the wireless problem i always seem to notice...
that mouse has the best 'balance' out of any wireless device ive tried, though. doesn't feel like an impairment.

I really liked how it fit my hand, but other than that, it wasn't very good, and terrible for gaming.Uzique wrote:

i feel like a change from my G7, that looks nice but i'm slightly worried about the battery dying if i used it too much, something i love about the G7 is the hot swappable batteries, one charges while the other is being usedUzique wrote:
