And telstra haven't hooked up the new port to the local exchange for me. I am so shanking our local fibre techie, who I know quite well.

Its no better in Adelaide TBH, if you buy anything they always say "yeah no probs, it'll be express overnight", and of course when you phone up the next day the answer is always "um yeah, its going to be a week at least, it has to come from Melbourne..."
