It looks like I will be getting an extension on my car loan to buy a pc

What do you think of this, and please feel free to comment and suggest something better

Amount will be $1500 or so?
I already have moniter, mouse, keyboard case
Thermaltake Soprano Fx, so its fairly big, brand new but several years old... Ive been wanting to do this for years

Do different cpu pinouts have advantages over others or is it just a case of different cpu's being offered. (If you know what i mean )

Kingston 2GB DDR3 1333MHz CL9 DIMM RAM $24.43 ea

I have no idea what type of ram I should get and how much

Thermaltake 500W POWER SUPPLY - OEM $52.13
Will any power supply fit? and how much power would I need?

Graphics card...HDD's
Dont even know where to start with these
And I will also need all wiring to go with it
Im assuming some will come with the mobo etc

I will probably go to MSY unless someone can recommend somewhere online thats good

I've been told that an i5 will suffice for gaming, dont really think i7 would be necessary?
For RAM, you could get away with 8GB for a reasonable price these days, DDR3 fo shizzle.
As for the power supply, I'd probably get a 750w, just because you'll be running some high-powered shtuff. Plus all of the cabling originates from the PSU.
Graphics... shit I dunno. GTX 560?

I want something pretty bulletproof that will be able to handle new games for a few years, even if thats on low settings in the future

If you want the build to last then stick with 8GB of RAM (it's dirt cheap, you can always upgrade later) and grab yourself a more powerful graphics card instead (I recommend  a HD6950)

OEM version of Win7 is $95.

here in the States, you can get OEM if you buy Microsoft hardware. shops will sell you a copy if you buy a Microsoft mouse, or keyboard, whatever. true for OEM Office too.

Some retailers even sell the OEM and then give you a €2 mouse for free because they have to...
