You know why the qwerty keyboard came out the way it did? It made key presses difficult and slower, because the mechanical hands of the typewriters would jam if you typed too fast. QWERTY is designed to fuck you up and slow you down.

Type minimum and see how hard that is. One hand, two fingers and you are forced to jump the middle row every single keystroke.

DVORAK groups vowels together so you move your hand less. QWERTY has most keystrokes occur on the left hand side of the keyboard, which for most people is their weaker hand as they are right handed.
