I feel worse for the people in the valley below (Withcott/Granthom etc) who had a 7ft wall of water rush down the range. Some people's houses actually floated away.
I hope you're not in a low lying area of Brissy Jaekus, because there's a shit load of water heading your way and there are flood alerts for most of the city.

I'm in Kelvin Grove, which is near the city but it's quite elevated. The whole CBD would have to be under metres of water before it would even get near flood levels here Even so, I work all over the place. I was told this morning I may get a phone call tomorrow to cancel the team meeting as the office is near the river.
