American coffee does not suck. if you use fresh ground beans, clean water, clean equipment, and common sense. Dutch coffee sucks if you never clean the machine, use Dutch tap water, and buy pre-ground beans from a harvest two years ago . . .
Its not the beans i think.UnkleRukus wrote:

Im not a coffee drinker but i dont know a single person that likes American coffee. It always seems to be to weak and diluted with water
I'd be very surprised if any coffee is grown in Holland.burnzz wrote:

Weak coffee is the fault of the person making it, not the country it's made in. I've had weak coffee everywhere. I've had paint-peeling coffee everywhere, as well.

It´s the roasdting that gives the taste, not the bean per se. All the work is done in the respective countries they are sold in in most cases and that´s why coffee is so expensive, yet the farmers get the smallest part in the whole chain.FEOS wrote:

The american coffee is rather bland compared to what is drunk throughout Europe as far as I heard too. I´m an enthusiastic coffee drinker, as is my whole family and that was the only thing my mother complained about when she returned from her last US trip.
I have yet to try it myself.
I met a few Americans who shivered when they went to Starbucks here, cause the coffee was so strong and coffee-ey. lol
this thread is about pics not about tea of coffee,
i should post pics
