The first ones to send me a PM with the correct answer AND how you figured it out gets a karma, until my karma is empty

If we asume that:
2+3=10
7+2=63
6+5=66
8+4=96

What is 9+7=?

If you solve this you are supposed to have atleast an IQ of 120

I just looked up the answer, and I hate myself for not bothering to think about it for longer than a minute. It's actually really easy as far as these things go.

I'd seen it before, took me a while to get it the first time, but once I got on the right track it was easy.

^^

Too bad I had so few karmas ...

Have my doubts about the IQ of 120 because it really wasn't that hard

A man builds a cube shaped house with all the walls facing to the south outside. A bear comes along and kills the man, what color is he?

I faintly recall this test being in form of:

2 3 = 10
7 2 = 63
6 5 = 66
8 4 = 96

What is 9 7 = ?

Something do with giving more abstract base to start with.

Also, this question tests (as far I know) ways of solving mathematical puzzles, so I can't really understand how it could determine overall IQ. :p

Kind of reminds me of a puzzle I saw a few months ago called Petals around the rose.

Here is a popular puzzle that went round my group of friends at University. Apparently the longer it took you to figure out, the cleverer you were - as it took Bill Gates weeks to solve.

Of course I solved it instantly, while my physics studying friend wrestled over it for several agonising days.

If you already know the answer - don’t tell anyone! And what do you think is the reason behind some people solving this puzzle instantly and some people taking a long time? (I prefer not to put it down to ‘cleverness’!)
Can you solve ‘Petals around the rose’?

No googling. k?

Took me hours of headaches to get this one =/
