Just noticed this.. Ferreira was brilliant against Tottenham tbh. Seemed to have good control of his side most of the time, and that's with Assou-Ekotto (or whatever) and Bale to take care of. Hell, he even forced Bale to shift to the right to get anything done! It's weird because at times he's easier to run around than a traffic cone and does some weird shit (especially as a center defender, lol), but there are also times when he really shows up and plays brilliantly.

And he's typically good vs. Man U, shan't be a problem

As Jose once said, he's a 7 out of 10 player. Did nothing going forward, and gave the ball away or unnecessarily kicked it out of play too much, he is extremely defensive minded, and looks awkward with the ball at his fight. Great guy and the fans love him, good enough for a team going for the title? Not for me.

He is very defensively minded, true, but on the other hand Bosingwa's wild runs are at times a bit too.. wild against teams like Tottenham. I prefer Ivanovic out of the three, but with Alex out that's not going to work.

After the Spurs game, I'm more comfortable with Ferreira back there than Bosingwa against Man U (And Bosingwa's injured so we'll get to test that theory).
