Don't get me wrong he goes missing in games sometimes and had a few stinkers earlier on this season, but everyone is forgetting he was bought as an Attacking Midfielder, he was instrumental to us winning the league 3 years in a row.

Now he's had to adapt to a new role under Fergie this year and to a lesser extent last year, playing much deeper as a DM. He's one of our top tacklers and makes a lot of interceptions, to build the attack again and set us off.

A lot of fans don't recognise the stuff he actually contributes to the game, instead just wanking over Fletcher because Fergie does too (who is also brilliant) and the media don't help either.

They're the same idiots saying Evans should be sold, Berbatov is useless because he doesn't run around like Tevez did etc

Yeah Evans will be good in the future for you guys, Berbatov does alright just unfortunate for him Rooney and Hernandez are so good...Let's face it you have by far the best squad in the league right now. Chelsea's can be good, but it needs some fine tuning, and we really need a manager to stick around for 5 or 6 seasons.

I think we've got a great squad, but can improve on the starting lineup, another left winger like Valencia just mirrored and left footed would be beautiful

A midfielder who can make things happen in the final third would be nice too but not essential.

Then if rumours are true, Stekelenberg for 6mil would be perfect too.

Fuck City, apparently Barca, Real, Chelsea are interested too, dunno how much of that is media hype though.

Sanchez can be as good as Ronaldo imo, especially if he's taken care of as well as Ronaldo was under Fergie.

to be honest, £25m for Sneijder would be a bargain

City paid 23 for Balotelli and stupid amounts for other players. Chelsea 50m for Torres (?!). i know City and Chelsea are made to pay ridiculous prices because of their wealth and lack of history, but £25m for Sneijder and i see that ass a bargain. i mean Hernandez for us and VdV for Spurs, those are brilliant business and team signings. Sneijder for 25m would be another

now £30m i'd see that as a fitting price, £40m i'd worry about the pressure on him and how much can we actually afford with our debt... a club like United splashing a record transfer could be a negative thing on a player (Berbs?) but Fergie knows best. if he wants a player, he'll get him unless he's already agreed with another club
