Yeah this expansion seems like it's probably well worth the money. So far, I've liked the maps on conquest a lot better than rush.

For whatever reason, it seems to run significantly smoother than BFBC2 as well...

Prowling in the bushes sniping the enemy is muy fun too. In vanilla I just hate sniping. Can't seem to hit anything.

I think as well because the terrain is more hillside etc. as opposed to buildings it can be a bit more random, and you can be a bit sneakier when getting around the map. Some of the maps in vanilla you can't really do this because they're so open. You're often better off just powering through in a tank or zipping past on a quad, which alerts the enemy to exactly where you are anyway.

Dunno, already I've had a few moments where I've managed to flank a squad of 4-5 enemies carving up my team, get in behind and massacre the lot. But in doing so it was tricky to get around.

tl;dr - the game just feels more tactical.

They've improved the hitreg, but also shots around the body are lethal. It's quite good.

I was a little disappointed in one map.. Forgot which one... But I was playing as NVA and we were getting absolutely RAPED by the UH-1 gunship. I didnt see any AA emplacements to actually gun it down with, and without the tracker its really difficult to hit it with an RPG if the pilot is decent enough. Seemed a tad unbalanced.

Yeah, the open sights on rifles and LMG's is a game changer. BUT i feel like it slows down the gameplay enough to allow prone....
