The difference is that they're much more sophisticated when used elsewhere. Right now they're just constantly noise and droning for the sake of it. They don't do it at any specific time or during some event on the pitch, it just constantly happens all the time. All this shows is the lack of culture and sophistication on behalf of the country. This is the best they can do, blow a plastic trumpet that was popularised in the 21st century (wow real history right there) and blow it in an uninspiring simple manner.
I thought Africa was a country of drums and such, not some dumb plastic trumpet. But they're designed for idiots and so that says everything that needs to be said.

I'm used to it now, after being in a theatre with 3000 others blowing vuvuzelas themselves + the ones being played in the ITV coverage, it's kinda deafened me so I can't hear them much anymore
