This is a serious debate topic. In general, what do you consider trolling, and how do you deal with it? Personally, I consider trolls to be people who spam arguments with the goals of seeking attention or annoying others. I usually just ignore them, or try to talk sense into them, but the latter rarely works.

So how about you? What do you consider trolling? And do you believe there is a difference between trolling and joking around?

I'm just curious as to the best ways to deal with trolling, and how to not turn into a troll myself. Besides, DST members aren't gonna rise mayhem, they're too well behaved.

Trolling is the art of pressing peoples buttons on internet forums.
It takes time, and research, and skill to do it artfully without resorting to insults or repetitive arguments.
It can be funny too.

Spamming OTOH is the practice of filling forums with nonsense which the regular members don't want to wade through.
