I bought Oblivion although I think I won´t like it, lol. Never played it but tried Morrowind and found it to be mega-shit.

Bethesda fails at making combat fun. That was my main problem with Oblivion.

..and I doubt you'll like Oblivion if you hated Morrowind. Pretty much the same thing.

I actually liked combat in Oblivion. What I didn't like were the frequency of random stupid encounters with weak enemies when I was trying to ride a horse around, particularly because I had to hop off to kill the fuckers.

Morrowind bored me because it was so damn slow, combat was shit and the dialogues were massive blocks of endless text. Hm, at least Oblivion looks good.
Can´t try until next week cause my sucky laptop would burn, I shall see then.

It seems a lot of people here liked it though, mostly because of mods if I recall correctly.

Oblivion is a very fun game, but yes the combat is a bit shit. Gothic is where you wanna go for good RPG combat.

I thoroughly love the Gothic series. I´m still curious about this one. Saw it in action at a friend who played it and it looked okay. He said its real great fun, despite the combat being dull. Block, hit, block, hit, spell, block, hit.
