How much do you spend on alcohol?

Looking at the rather desperate state of my finances today, has suddenly got me thinking about how much I spend per month on booze. Recently I've been going out three times a week, and spending maybe 30 pounds each time. Which rather worryingly is 360 pounds a month, or $525. I'm definitely going to have to cut my spending next year.
What about you guys?

all told, maybe $200 a month. that is excepting when i find 18 yr Glenlivet. the wife and i pick up $100 in wine every second or third week, the rest is beers . . .

It usually is somewhere around 50€ without cab rides and burgers after the bar tour. And that doesn't include always the booze before going to the bar. Nowadays I'm not going out that much being engaged and all. Once in two months maybe? Before my clubbing consisted of having fun and trying to get laid with some random hot woman. So no need to go clubbing anymore that often. Besides I enjoy my rest during the weekends. At home I tend to relax with a couple beers and some whisk(e)y or absinthe. So without clubbing, I'd say 20-50€ a month and with clubs n' pubs 50€ more.

It goes in bursts, really.

Most I've done I guess is roughly £400 in a month on alcohol alone, and then add food, taxi, club, other expenses. But that's graduation and hardly the norm. So far I've spent zero this month

As Uzi said, cutting down is easy, I've had to do it several times. Lay off the expensive stuff, for starters.
