Just mentioning it will force people to bail though, irrespective of the odds.

I'm wondering when I'll find an excellent opportunity to sell my gold.

For those who believe it and act on their belief, yes they will exit the stock market. Your statement is very vague though so it is hard to tell if you actually believe the market will decline on such a level based on the Hindenburg omen.

For a start - make sound economic and political decisions based in reality and experience with a credible, tested, experienced  leader.

for example avoid Candidates who think there are 60 states in the United States of America,

or anyone who thinks you can spend your way out of debt,

or tax your country into prosperity.

or can't remember what religion they are.

So avoid Republicans as well as Democrats? Gotcha.

Name someone who would fulfill this role.

Why should a candidate's religion matter? Who can't remember their religion?

Yea, but I think he was referencing to Obama. The right-wing Christians don't belief his testimony of being a Christian and feel he is a Muslim, but as far as being a President goes, it doesn't matter. It's not a religious debate.

So I get the feeling mr hunter jumper is one of these Republican rank and file types.

Ya think? Anyone who is a 'liberal' is his enemy, anyone who is conservative is his friend, and anyone who is in that large majority block of people who don't belong to a party is a fence sitting pussy. And Republicans wonder why they have such a hard time garnering independent votes. They alienate them every chance they get.

It is sad because they make up a majority of the tea party and it's been hijacked by the Republican establishment. I thought it was odd for Republican congress members organizing a Tea Party caucus. Shouldn't the Tea Party been organized from the tea party?

His post was silly rhetoric anyway. Experienced and tested leader doesn't mean anything unless actual wisdom was gained. Being a congressmen for 20 years certainly does not relate to being a good government elected official. It more likely means they know the machine innately and know how to manipulate it.

Yes, I'm certain it'll go much higher.  But as like any other bubble, it'll eventually burst.  Buying at current prices and timing a sell-off point is just crazy.

If gold is in a bubble then we are in much more trouble than we think.

Butthurt Reps & Dems are the biggest problem in the US today, totally unwilling to do bipartisan talks to get the US back on track ... each day this congressional blockade lasts the more exspensive it will get for the population of the US ...

A political stalemate like this is not your best interest, but keep blaming eachother until it's to late ... if not already ...

at this point it's a zero-sum game.  The Republicans have nothing to contribute so they're standing back hoping for the absolute worst whether it's the economy, terrorism, wars, whatever.
