90% of them are useless when I join a server. Because of the rampant team switching that occurs everywhere, the only team that ever loses people is the team full of terribads, which I of course am forced to join on.

So, I sit there, run through a hail of bullets to get halfway to an objective and then die. I spawn on my squad mate only to die from the guy that was sneaking up on him and to whom he was completely oblivious.

What makes it worse is that these assholes all decide to quit trying after the second death and sit back and snipe instead, or they've been a sniper for the 8 previous rounds as their teammates entered and exited through the revolving door in rage.

Now, I'm not god's gift to BC2 by any means but it would be nice if even 1/3 of the people that play the game had a bit of situational awareness, scanned their surroundings and didn't constantly allow me to be flanked by the guy that just ran right in front of them. Yes, getting flanked is my own problem, but it shouldn't be when I look at the minimap and my sides are covered by big blobs of teammates hiding in buildings etc.

i had a good squad earlier but of the rest of the team was shit: snipers guarding the armor on a rush attack.

so close to popping my 4th objective

on a side note, has everyone stopped playing ?

gets some good friends to join your squad in BC2. joining a random squad is either the best thing to happen to you or you will ragequit ASAP

In other words, your teammates are running and gunning. Try to join a squad full of bf2 or battlefield veterans or something. They'll probably be more tactical, instead of using a "run and gun" or "camp" mentality, each of which get you destroyed in bf2.

I got to 77 in the world doing nothing but that, sounds like you never even played that game.

Are you kidding? I played, I just didn't run and gun cod style. You run through an area, crawl in the grass, scout the place, then run in etc. Of course some of the gameplay is run and gun but its mainly tactics.

The only tactics in bf2 are knowing how to use cover to your advantage, besides that tactics is a nil.

Sounds like you had a bad day... I've had my "terribad" moments in BC2, but for the most part, I just try to hang in there til things get better or take a break from the game...
