When one views the great cliff dwellings and fortresses of The Old Ones the first question that always comes to mind is, " what happened to the people that made them? What were they protecting themselves against? "
In fact, aside from these fortresses, there are no cities whatsoever in South West America that were not built by either white people or the Pueblo indians. So, when you hear hispanic racist thugs spouting shit about this being occupied land know they are spewing lies and perpetuating a fraud.
Point to me one mexican settlement in all of California that predates the Spanish. Go ahead, I defy you.
There is evidence from turqouise mines and artifacts found in Nevada that The Old Ones traded goods with people from South America. There is no evidence at all that the people the Pueblo traded with ever came North and established settlements. Nothing suggests anyone from mexico ever set foot in America after their ancestors crossed the straights from Asia some 12000 years ago ( probably 3 times that long ago ).
Except the ghostly remains of the cliff dwellings and the vast abandoned farm works of Casa Grande.
So again, what happened to the Anazasi? Why did they built their homes in fortified and hidden places?
According to mexican folk lore as described in the book Aztec the cannibal savages, aka as the Aztecs from mexico made raiding trips North to capture " dog people ", aka American indians to drag them back to be sacrificed and eaten, what they called a " flowery death ".
The Anazasi eventually fled East to establish tribes far away from the raiding murderous interlopers.
