That's maybe unfair, I only installed Windows the other week. I'll scan my Samsungs, I haven't formated them since I got them in February.
I've never had a virus problem, but yesterday I visited some site via Google which tried to install some shit. Neither Google nor Firefox knew about it. Fortunately BitDefender stopped it. But to all you cocky assholes who claim to be too 1337 to bother with AV, there is a need for it.
8 infections, 6 of which are falsely accused keygens (AV programs are constantly flagging keygens as infections, cause they hook into programs or something idk) and 2 instances of SuperPi... for whatever reason.
Yeah that happens with SuperPi, noticed it awhile back and looked into it.
Year old install on my lappy, loads of shady sites and such, no AV.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
