I sometimes lurk the Total War Center forums and they allow their members to decide site policy to a degree. One of the proposals that was is up for debate is whether or not to ban holocaust denial. Their vote is about 2/3 going towards allowing Holocaust Denial on the grounds of free speech, while 1/3 want to ban it on the grounds of denial being offensive.

Do you think Holocaust denial should be punishable by imprisonment or fines like some Euro countries do, or do you think that freedom of speech is more important and it should be allowed as any other type of speech?

Id have to say so, even if the only reason is the multiplayer campiagn. the naval betters look crisper. the battles have a bunch of little extras that werent there before (like a horse galloping across the battlefield with its dead rider being dragged behind)...empire was buggy as fuck.

Is the singleplayer completely linear though? Would make me sad.

No, that's normal for TW. I meant, is the campaign as wide open as the other TW games? Could I play as Sweden and conquer the world or am I stuck playing as the French with predetermined conquests planned out?

oh yeah. get ready to be sad. more so than any other tw game. you could play as france from 1790's or prussia, britain and austria only from 1805 and the game ends in 1812 (1814 for prussia) but. the years are longer than any other game.

you can play a whole bunch of other nations byut like bravo said the timeline is much more limited.

Its so boring! Nobody cares about holocaust. In history there were much more serious tragedies then this. They should quit yelling it over and over again. If someone is saying a bad word about it, he is an antisemite. I think holocaust should be researched, so teh whole world would know the truth, that there are big lies in it.

Anyone cares about the 110 million victims of communism? Its a bigger tragedy then the death of a few thousend. Anyone mentioned the victims of colonization by British, Spanish and French troops?

Lets mention them too also loudly!

Massacres should be strongly noted equally in all history textbooks... But it's not exactly trying to wipe out an entire race of people.
