I think it's better than anything on Relapse.
No annoying fake accent, decent wordplay, and one catchy chorus.

Well it just sounds like Eminem to me - not that I've heard all that much of his stuff, probably just the hits. I don't really know anything about the genre, it all just kinda sounds the same to me (which I suppose isn't a bad thing, I'm just not to keen on it).

As for pop-like...it depends on what you compare it to.
Comparing it to any of the Boot Camp Clik groups makes it sound pretty pop-like.
Comparing it to....Lil Wayne makes it sound a little less pop-like.

the slim shady persona and the mainstream stuff (sorry to use the term - i hate it) doesn't really do anything for me
his original stuff was kinda dark... almost like horrorcore in places.
i respect him as a white breakthrough artist and as a good MC (he beat dose one at the mc championships years back... nice)
but i dont respect the direction and 'sound' that he has nowadays. whatever gets that cash money i suppose!
