True M1 has a larger caliber but I believe the 7.62 round is longer or has more propellant in it therefore fires a faster projectile which equals more Kinetic Energy which equals more 'power'. Well in real life that is so anyway... maybe they just copied it....:ronin:.|Patton wrote:

Point is, Medic need to kill people to get to their target.
You can kill more people in less time with a LMG, cause you need to reload less
That's why the M1 is useless to a medic.
Well I do a fine job as a medic without killing people, since the focus should be reviving and healing. The M1 Garand or the 870 shotgun are usually what I take. Sort of so I don't engage, they're only there if I really need them.
