How close are we talking? Palms is the obvious choice, or Bills if you want to be on the strip whilst being affordable.

it's vegas...why stay at the days inn? But no, it's not worth getting a really expensive room. That said you should be able to find some for around $100 a night. Rio is at the end of the strip so you pretty much have to take a cab
