So I met this guy on one of the forums I frequent who just moved to Vienna and he was asking on advice on where he could park his car. After asking questions about the car that needed to be parked, it came out that it is a Ferrari F355 Berlinetta (oh yea!). So after a few weeks of bouncing messages back and forth and after he brought the car down to Vienna from his native London, we made an appointment out to meet so I could see the car and show him around the Austrian streets and maybe a few roads.
Went and picked the car up from the garage was parked at and gave a few 16 year olds orgasms (saw a group look at the car and through the window and we walked towards them and they started to walk away at that point, then my friend unlocked the doors with the remote and they all spun around and asked a few questions about the car; looks on their faces were priceless). Then we drove over to the local Ferrari dealer and this is what we saw:
1 458
2 F430 Scuderias
1 F430
1 California
1 612
1 599
1 F355 Spyder
Then after leaving the dealer ship, we got in the car and headed out of the city to go and hunt for a road. I knew of a couple, but they were all too far away for a quick drive. So I picked one of the nearest towns that I knew was popular and had beautiful scenery and a nearby mountain, so we aimed the car that way. Luckily the gamble paid off and we found a very twisty road. After passing pretty much everything that was in our way (legally!) we had the road to ourselves. Drove around and then found this little pull-off spot and made a few photos. The light was really crappy and dark and we didn't really have the time to set up my camera to make pictures. So just snapped these few photos and drove home.
Now we're going to plan a little trip out into the countryside one day and go to one of the roads that I am familiar with. I can't wait. Going to have to make sure I keep up with my uni work so that way whatever weekend we pick, I won't have to worry about having fallen behind or whatever. I can't wait. Going to be awesome!
