Some stadiums are good, such as the LA Coliseum, while others, such as the Metrodome, suck. Which do you think specifically are the best, in all of college and pro football.

I would vote Rose Bowl by a lightyear - there really isn't a better place to play or watch a football game.

I really hate dome stadiums, as a note. They are way too artificial.

The only redeeming thing about Jack Murphy Stadium is its location (and perhaps that is has hosted a couple of quality Holiday Bowl win for Oregon.)

I originally had prefaced the post with something noting Wembley could be the lone exception.

The criteria is simple. I want to know which football stadiums you like. We aren't evaluating stadiums against some pretense of objective standards. This endeavor is entirely subjective.

I exclude most foreign stadiums because American football is not played in them. Each sport generally has its own unique stadiums, and I wanted to constrained the discussion here to those primarily designed for football. If you want to start another thread evaluating all of them, or perhaps just national Olympic stadiums, feel free to. That wasn't the purpose of my post here.

thread only of use to American football fails.

Why not just have sports stadia full stop? Most stadia these days are used for loads of stuff - rock concerts for example. No point having ten different threads for individual sports izzit.

Because then the MCG would be the default winner and the thread would die. At least now the Americans can suck each others dicks for a while saying how good they are.

I didn't flame anyone just gave a suggestion for the thread. you don't like it, fine. now gtfo, thanks.

But on topic then if we're limited to American football stadiums the only one I've been to is Giants staidum in the 90s so I guess I have to say that.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2a/Giants_Stadium.jpg/800px-Giants_Stadium.jpg

Although it's been used for shitloads of rock concerts as well as proper football matches so...does it count?

I like the Rose Bowl and the LA Colisuem.  Both can seat a massive amount of people.

Jack Murphy no longer exists.  It's Qualcomm.

I've seen the Raiders at the Coliseum, Qualcomm and McAfee.  I saw the Rams play at Anaheim Stadium too but that was such a shitty venue for football.
