After this week I know the nurses in the ER at Womack Army Medical Center by name. They instantly recognize me on sight as "the young lady with the resting pulse rate of 160". So here's the deal, I've got a diagnosis of acute Bronchitis, and I'm on anti-biotics for Mycoplasmal Pneumonia. They took 2 X-Rays during the 20 hours I spent in the ER on Wednesday and Thursday, and couldn't find "anything majorly exciting", but they know my history of Pneumonia so they're taking extra precaution. For now I'm on bed rest and if it weren't for Codeine, my chest and stomach would cause me too much pain to move. So lucky me, no BF2 for a while, because I'm sure the instant someone snuck up on me and killed me I'd gasp out of surprise, start coughing/choking, and then die from lack of oxygen. Oh yeah, and I still despise needles... and IV's... lying there and watching it fall slowly one small tear drop full at a time... drip... drip... drip...
