bug??

yesterday i played some bf2 and once my teammate fired a long burst in the direction of enemy.
it is not that this is weird, but when he stopped with shooting, i could still hear sound of firing ak-47...
all the time.....
ant then he got killed and i have never seen him again...

Yes it's an annoying glitch like the medic heal sound one.
