I call it hoodlum ball for their actions on and off the court, not because of their race. Or is baseball and football plagued with gun toting players in the locker room. ( and only 2 got caught by the way)

No they are plagued with gun toters in nightclubs, Drive by shootings, gamblers, and pretty much all the crimes of everyday life. Hoodlum does have a racist connotation. Kinda like "nappy headed hoes" does.

The reason I say he is using hoodlum in a racist manner is there is no distuishing factor that calls for the term in the manner used other then the fact basketball is predominatly black. They are no more plagued by crime then any other sport, yet it is the only sport he gives that term for. How about saying all pro sports are for hoodlums? Not just the predominatly black one.

Because ALL PRO SPORTS are not full of hoodlems, NBA, NFL, mainly. If you claim that this is true because they are black, I can't help that assumption. I say it is true because of the actions of those players. You assume the rest, and now we know how you think

NFL is predominately made up of black athletes as well. They do have problems as well. However, the NBA seems to have more. Like it or not there is a parallel to the attitudes of players of the NBA and street players.

Haven't heard to many in the NBA taking guns into the PUBLIC, haven't heard anything about NBA players getting into fights in LV where they get killed, haven't heard anything about NBA players and animal cruelty. Fact is Lowing although they are both plagued by thugish behavior, it is in the same parralel as the rest of the world. In ANY demographic of people there will be crime, corruption, and "hoodlums" No more in the NBA then on any street in the good ol US of A.
As far as NFL being predominatly black, a majority of the top earners (the stars) in the NFL are white, not so with the NBA.
