I love classical music. I couldn't even begin to list all the pieces I love, but Tchaikovsky is by far my favorite composer.

Love Dvorak too.

And it's Carl Orff.

try this I just found this guy today beautiful piece of music, absolutely stunning my 2 half year old son sat in the car absolutely rapt before that he had the screaming hab dabs this just shut him up in 5 secs & then there was nothing wrong with the world for 5 half mins, I love music.

Anyway, I love classical music. I don't really have any favorite pieces or composers, I just love it all. I especially like pieces written in minor keys.

Philip Glass, yes!!! I had been wanting to go back and listen to the Koyaanisqatsi soundtrack again (listen to it frequently, as a matter of fact), but that post just sealed the deal.

Also Steve Reich,

I've got the album, great one.

And while we're on the topic of Reich, everyone must listen to "Come Out" at least once. It'll be good for ya.

It's just so expensive.

A good contemporary classical musician is Eric Whitacre. If you can find his non-choral pieces they are awesome.

Not that great of a performance but you get an idea of the piece.
