Has everyone just had about enough? Its a GAME. G.A.M.E.

we're not talking realism or a real war here. How about everytime you get shot and killed BF2 erases itself from you HDD and you have to get a new copy?

Shot in the leg you gotta limp to an obscure corner of the map and wait 2 months before you regain full mobility?

On first purchase of the game you have to go through 3 months of boot camp.

bunny-hopping : a tactic that a relatively unskilled player can use, where they jump up and down repeatedly and rapidly, while at the same time spraying what any given weapon, prefereably one that does not need accuracy. This makes them difficult to hit, and at the same time, lets them shot things with little to no skill involved.

bunny hopping, no matter what they hell you say, is an exploit. and i have the proof, dont even bother to argue it; the proof is that they are fixing it because its being abused. Running for cover, great. Jumping around to keep from getting sniped? great. Running, and jumping then diving at the last moment, thats great too. bunny-hopping? used by people new to the game that havent developed any real skill, and instead just exploit the game. these kind of people are the same type that buy a 20 dollar cheat program to win at the game (it takes so much skill to buy an aimbot too)..."do anything to win" and "its just a game" - neither of those should be translated as "i can cheat and exploit the rules just to win and make myself feel better"...

I agree but I'm sorry to say you're totally wasting your time =/

No one wants to believe it's just a game. I don't know why but I think it's because they still believe in pixies. BF2 features the runway species of pixies that can attach themselves to your jet and repair and rearm it at over 400mph! The crate pixies are cool too but for some reason the crate blows up and they all die

MY QUESTION IS THIS:

When the patch comes out what are people going to complain about?  MY guess, BUNNY HOPPING.  People will still jump when they are attacked...  The patch only fixes the ability to fire in the air.

Both "bunny hopping" and "dolphin diving" require silly and stupid names because they are stupid!!  It is not at all that it will make the game easier it is just that it will make it a little more realistic.  I agree that if you hear gunshots you may jump once but who runs and jumps around as it they can dodge bullets?!?!  And for that matter adding "prone" in the middle of the jump ove and over... I think the only reason anyone wants to keep this is because they will suck after it is taken away...Think on how you could become a better player without finding a glitch in the program!  Strategy, Stealth, Teamwork, planning, and that is only the beginning...not things like "Hey lets jump up and down!!" how gay!

I already did boot camp and then some ty - there is nothing more fun that shooting down a flock of bunnies hopping south for the winter.

When my hog starts to squeal the bunnies hop unreal but the result is all the same to them the shame and me the fame....hey not bad eh?  i don't know what it means but it rhymes.

If the animation for Jumping had a Crouch first, like you do in real life, ( You have to bend your knees 1st )

The "noobs" who complain about bunny-hopping are probably military guys like me who know that jumping up and down like an idiot when someone's opening up on you with full-auto is not even close to a legitimate real-life combat tactic, and it isn't going to save your ass either.  The best you could hope for is getting your balls shot off instead of taking some hits to your (hopefully armored) torso.  Bunny-hoppers take advantage of deficiencies in the game coding which keeps them from getting a well-deserved nut-splattering.

I'd laugh if real jet pilots complain because not only is flying easier in this game than it is in real life you don't have to land to rearm, you simply fly over the runway.

This game is NOT realistic, can people please try to grasp that fact...

Q3A - Massive hopping - no complaintments about it
UT - Hopping was the only the way to survive longer then 10 sec - no complainments

BF2 - Stats involved , people pissed of when they have been killed especialy when the enemy used a tactic called Bunny hopping - massive topic spam on BF2s with complains

Its not so much the fact they are doing it.

Its the fact that when someone "dolphin dives" rarely do you even see them fire before youre dead.  90% of your bullets dont hit them either.

Its more a "glitch" exploited than a tactic.

If EA were to delay the time needed to obtain prone position, or if someone were to jump and go prone in one move, they would fall face first bust some teeth out, lose some health and be startled and killed anyways cause they got knocked out, then itd be more realistic.

Till then, dolphin-diving is ridiculous and does not belong in a tactical game.


BUNNY HOPPING.... is for arena death match games.  Keep it out of BF2. 

Last i tried i couldnt jump sideways moving back 10 feet and aim/fire a gun.  Let alone do the first one.


They need not remove the jump/fire mode though...  Just GREATLY reduce the accuracy.

OKAY IVE COME UP WITH A NEW LIST OF TERMS FOR EVERYDAY ACTIONS IN BF2...........

1.)SNAKING-  this is when you lay down in the prone position and shoot someone (so everyone bitch when this happens to you)

2.)OVERCLICKING- this is when you shoot some one and your rate of fire is higher then theirs due to you clicking the mouse button faster than they did.  often times n00bs will consider this "cheap" and flame you for it.

3.)NOOB-ROLLIN-this is when you go into prone position while strafing right or left causing your player to roll, usually avoiding most of the enemy fire.  n00bs will often call you on this and expect you to run straight at their PKM fire with a knife in hand ready to kill them like a "man".

4.)SPEEDY-GONZALAZ-ING-this is when while walking, you hold down the shift button causing you to run. n00bs will usually get mad because you will avoid and incoming grenade and various other types of enemy fire. 


remember everyone, to be a l337 ub3R play3r, NEVER, AND I MEAN NEVER!! PLAY THE GAME AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE PLAYED!!!
