Actually, an annual USAF conference. Not really in Vegas proper, but at the base on the north side of town. So you don't really get to see much of Vegas except on the weekend. And I've been doing this conference for a long time, so the new has kind of worn off so the Strip really isn't that appealing to me any more. I go for more "local" things when I'm here.

i volunteered to do Aviation Nation '08, and got to meet the pilots, the base CO, and alot of cool ppl.

As far as Vegas goes, i live 400 miles away - just close enough. we go two/three times a year, and in small doses it is a very fun place to be . . .

Yes.

But small doses accumulate. At least for me. I'm not much into gambling, and even titty bars get old after a while. There's tons of other cool stuff to do though, but it's not on the Strip...hence why I said more "local" stuff. Lots of buds here and they tend to hook me up with that kind of stuff when I'm out here.
