Maybe, but theres a difference between trying to reform the health system and killing hundreds of thousands if not millions so the ME looks more how you like it.

In your opinion...  if anything, the short time that Obama has been in office and the reactions that the Right have had has shown that conservatives are even sorer losers than liberals.

Well, considering that the Democrats are trying to do far more damage to what makes America, America than Bush could've ever dreamed up... I'd say the anger is justified. Socialists are an extreme majority in this country, 10% at most, and yet they are the ones in the drivers seat right now. There is going to be an extreme backlash. Get ready for another McCarthy era.

Well, if rule by ideological minorities (which I believe you meant to type) is what bothers you, then Bush's evangelical crew was the same way.  Evangelicals might make up more of America than "socialists", but they are also in the minority.

There's not going to be another McCarthy era, but there will always be rednecks with paranoia.

The millitary will be on the governments side lowing ... and you will never have government even close to socialism in the US ...

I beleive you are wrong. the military has historically always been anti democrat, and to ask them to turn their guns against their own families and hometowns to enforce an unconstitutional action ain't gunna happen. When it come to it, the military will turn on this or any administration that proceeds down the road Obama is taking us. So will law enforcement. It is still power to the people and the military is made up of the people.

Happened at Kent State, the military sided with the govt, not the people.

The guardsmen were being assaulted and antagonized by students, they fought back.

In the end however, this was not about OUR constitution or action that affected the US citizen. this was about Vietnam, more specifically Cambodia if I am not mistaken. there is a difference between this and telling the military to thorw away the law and listen to the president.

The evangelicals are just as wrong, but relatively harmless. Social wrongs can be fixed with the stroke of the pen by the next Congress or President. Economic ills affect generations. Obama and Friends are fucking this country over in the long term (and yes, Bush did too with Medicare Part D).

Social wrongs like Jim Crow laws?  It took more than just a stroke of the pen on that.  The same goes for slavery.

I'm not suggesting that being anti-gay is as bad as those two things, but I think you're greatly underestimating the "social ills" that evangelicals create.

In addition to this, the dispensationalist side of evangelicals is a large part of why we get involved in wars we shouldn't be part of and why we nearly unconditionally support Israel.

Again, I think you greatly underestimate the damage caused by religious nutjobs in this country.
