[MW2] Language

Maybe someone could help me. My dad bought me the game in Germany, so of course the language is German. It's okay, I guess. I can live with it, but I'm just so used to playing games in English. So my question is... Is there a way to change it? Is there a patch or a language pack I need to download somewhere? Or does IW/Steam force you to stick with the language... Pending in which country you bought it.

Does anyone have a clue?

No, you should be able to change your language in Steam.

Right Click on the game in Steam, and chose Properties.

There should be a tab entitled "Language"

Change your language to English (if it is in German)

Here is an example for HL2, from my Steam account:

The german version just contains the german localization.
It's "cut" if you shoot at civilians at the airport level so you can't change the language without a patch (I haven't found one yet).

I just changed my Italian version to the English one, it went through a long update but it works!

yeah as the pic shows, i just changed it to english, the game then started updating, i guess it was downloading the english files and when i booted up the game it was all in english.
