So I was sitting here enjoying my cereal when the sound of rotors slicing through the air came to my attention. I move to the window, and not 600 feet above me is a CH-149 Cormorant owned by the Canadian Forces doing a circling approach. It passes overhead once, I can clearly see the tail ramp lowered and the soldiers inside. House is shacking like nuts as it passes overhead. I scramble for my camera and winter gear, grab my pilot license and run outside.
I talked to the guys once they landed, pilot is from here and they came to get lunch XD
I'll try to get a video of it taking off later, nice little morning so far.
