Im doing a foundation degree, basically its pointless, its only so we can get onto the BSc Applied Computing course... . Cant be bothered with these 2 years, Im actually thinking about quitting and just going in army, was going to go in army after BSc anyway.

I'm doing Civil Engineering and Commerce. Only 3.5 more years at uni... fml

yes, but i'm considered 'overhead' - i'm not billing clients. we've gone from seventy people in two offices to four hundred people in five offices and three states in five years. i'm glad your Dad enjoyed it, i work with some of the mellowest people i've ever met.

Basically its 2 years of shit, just so you can get points to go onto the BSc degree. In total my course is 3 years - 0.5 gone now.
But are you enjoying it? I think Im disliking it because I left a lot until last minute, which I shouldnt have, a lot more work than I bargained for I suppose. Once tomorrow is over, I'll be chilling as am 50% way through other 2 modules assignments and can complete within week.

Might crack one off if I've got time.

Ahhh ok. Yeah, I'm loving both the civil engineering and the commerce. The major/minor for commerce is international business and finance, so last semester was filled with a lot of fucking interesting stuff (especially the financial instruments and crazy ways to make money ).

Good to hear the company is doing well If you aren't billing clients, what is it that you do.. o.O Lol yeah, dad enjoyed it a lot. He's now in senior management for another government department, but he's got some crazy stories from when he worked at the Roads and Traffic Authority... like when they fucked up timing of resurfacing the Sydney Harbour Bridge (), and 2 lanes were closed in the morning peak. Shit hit the fan

Birthday dinner for one of my friends at Pancakes on the Rocks. Fucking . Then going back to my old cadet SQN on Sunday to watch the End of Year Parade. Should be a good show.

Aside from that I'll be dragged around by my folks while we buy stuff for our impending holiday. Yeah.. should learn a little spanish as well..

Yeah, just 2 so far.  Probably go to another one sometime this month.  I was looking at tix for the 25th Lakers vs. Cavs but the tix are waaaay too high.  $20k for courtside, ~$200 for upper deck
