I lied. I'm still awake, and I fear my sleep shall be restless for nights to come.
Here's a tip. Never. Fucking. Ever. Watch Glee.
It doesn't matter how much your female friends insist.. just don't.
Ever.
Full review to come..

Fuck it, I'll finish this tomorrow. So far,
Here's an idea. If a female ever asks you to watch it, only do so if watching it will result in having sex with said female. Multiple times. Otherwise it wouldn't be worth it. At all.
It is touted as a "musical comedy-drama". It offered me none of these things.Glee is a painful pastiche of all things American pop-culture. Set in an American high school, the show conformed to a pathetically black and white social hierarchy – typical jocks, nerds and the like; as perpetuated by MTV – serving only to restrict any form of character development. Within each of their social groups, the characters themselves are merely a reproduction of stereotypes - the young and enthusiastic Glee Club teacher, the older football coach whose hardline attitudes later change for the benefit of the main characters (like we didn’t see it coming..), and the slightly awkward guidance counselor, to name a few.
Set to the backdrop of an a cappella “Flight of the Bumblebees”, the opening scene depicts (at this point, I cbf to write any more)
More to come on this travesty, including:
- the complete over-use of the a cappella scene, and its attempted use at creating humor
- the storyline and its painfully obvious use of simile to underscore character relationships

Sounds like you watched one of the shitty episodes, try the very first one. Their rendition of Don't Stop Believin' is really well donemcminty wrote:
