Dilbert, in your position I would probably vote greens as well.
I am for an ETS though. Looks like it would be an interesting month and a bit. I am voting Greens or Labor. Although I am dissapointed with some of Labors stuff, I think we cant afford to have a far right wing lunatic in charge of the country.

Well, I have no idea who I'll be voting for.

Labour - seem to have stuffed up more in the last two weeks than the last two years

Liberal - Don't think I'm voting for a Catholic or Joe Hockey, my local rep is Christopher Pyne.....

Green - Mindlessly anti-shooting sports - Otherwise I'd think about it.

Family First - So I'd be second? No.

Any ideas?

Ouch, that's gotta bite.

I used to live in Swann's electorate, but now I'm a bit too close to the city so I'm not sure who it is. Pretty sure I'll vote Larissa Waters for the Senate, not sure who for the lower house, but it pretty much flies in the face of who I am and always have been to vote for an hard right catholic in budgie smugglers.

House vote - pointless, ALP has a 20+ point margin here. However senate is interesting, as its neck and neck between the Libs/Greens for the second seat. Will almost certainly vote Green because of it.

With Green preferences going to Labor it could be closer than you think.

Think I'll vote for the sex party

Even though I haven't a clue who or what they're about.

"# Introduce an R and X rating for computer games.
# To overturn mandatory ISP filtering of the Internet"

Good enough for me... they get my vote.

Probably going to vote Green tbh, at least in the Upper House more so they can have some more sway in the Senate. Never been a fan of Libs/Labor controlling the Upper House, as they either get most things through that they want or nothing at all.

I'd vote green but for their rabid anti-shooting policy - which has sod all to do with being green.

Anti-shooting policy isn't much of a tradeoff compared to some of the policies the major parties have.

For one thing it shows they are a party with an agenda besides just being 'green'.

Anyway, I won't be voting for them, especially if they've done a deal whereby my vote gets transferred to a second party.

Unfortunately that ends up being the case whether you vote Green, National, et al.

And they need more policies than just "being green" really, for example I can't recall their economic policies or other areas like that. Then again, I haven't paid a lot of attention to politics for some time now.

nope, but justifies why they moved it.

Anyway, I won't be voting for them, especially if they've done a deal whereby my vote gets transferred to a second party.
All that deal means is what some flyers say. Bob Brown has said himself that people should direct preferences where they want, not where the party wants.

Reading the wiki page about the only thing I disagree with is:

To bring about equal numbers of men and women in the Parliament through enabling the Federal Discrimination Act to have jurisdiction extending to political parties.
Only other problem is they have no policy's on the economy or environment.

The more the election goes on the more I dislike both parties.

The Coalition seems to want to keep the country in the dark ages, does not have any thought out or costed plans, and Abbott seems to have no firm views about anything except whats right for his daughters.

Labour may have some plans but they'll be so poorly implemented they might as well not bother, they just want to blow resource revenue for no return, Gillard will just do and say anything to get herself elected.

Greens, some good ideas but they seem to be loaded with communists and class-warriors so I'm not interested in them.
