BF2S Forums Robert Kotick, Activision Blizzard CEO

If anybody is wondering exactly why IW have done what they have done with CoD over the past few years, good old Bobby Kotick is the answer.


I have put quotes from this bloke on the site before but I thought he deserved wider exposure.

So there you go. I didn't know he'd said that before but I did read somewhere a quote of his which I posted on the site about his intention to have a new CoD game on the shelves every year. Which is why Treyarch and IW now share development duties.


He sounds like a really swell guy who enjoys his gaming, his job and isn't at all bitter about how his life is turning out.Spoiler (highlight to read):
He doesn't play games at all. Ever. The gulf between him and the target audience couldn't be wider. Thank God Almighty Blizzard retains much of its independence since the merger or this clown could ruin any future work from Blizz.
